73. IRIS APFEL...on Chanel

I couldn't figure out a way to write something about the immaculate Iris Apfel that would give her any justice, so I decided to take the ready-made - her photographs and quotations - and start a sparse series of posts honoring the things she's said that I admire the most.

The First is called "IRIS APFEL...on Chanel"
 She is the first woman of her generation and social class that I have come across who isn't gushing about her devotion to the legendary fashion house. Something different and very, very funny.

Superficial things that contribute to the immense happiness that is my life right now:


Snooki: "I don't go tanning tanning anymore because Obama put a 10% tax on tanning, and I feel like he did that intentionally for us. McCain would never put a 10% tax on tanning. Because he's pale and he'd probably wanna be tanned. Obama doesn't have that problem. Obviously."
